The role
Every casino on Secancy depends on the platform you build. You will design services that move real money, stay correct under load and are pleasant for other engineers to build on.
What you will do
- Design and build services for player accounts, wallets, bonuses and game sessions
- Own the public REST APIs and webhooks described on our Developers page
- Make money movement correct by design, with idempotency, ledgers and reconciliation
- Set up testing, observability and code review practices for a growing team
- Work with product and compliance to turn regulatory rules into reliable code
What you bring
- 6+ years building backend systems in production
- Strong experience with a typed backend language such as TypeScript, Go, Kotlin or Java
- Solid relational database design, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience with payments, wallets, trading or other systems where correctness matters
- Clear written communication in English for a remote team
Nice to have
- iGaming platform or PAM experience
- Event-driven architecture and message queues
- Experience as an early engineer at a startup

- Ship your first wallet or session service to the sandbox
- Agree the API standards and versioning approach with the team
- Help hire our next backend engineer
